We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services. Your role will involve assisting with care plans, communicating effectively, and utilizing IT systems to enhance patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents or patients with daily living activities
- Follow and implement individual care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and information retrieval
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in need
- Help with mobility, feeding, personal hygiene, and other tasks as required
Requirements:
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred
- Proficient in English language, both written and verbal
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues effectively
- Valid driver's license may be required for home visits
