We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Pharmacy Counter Assistant to join our team.
Education / Skills:
While prior Pharmacy Counter experience is preferred, it is not essential.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
A genuine concern for patient well-being and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer care are essential.
The ability to perform effectively under pressure and within deadlines is required.
Attention to detail, accuracy, strong customer service, and IT skills are necessary.
Responsibilities:
Receive and dispense prescriptions.
Manage inventory by ordering items and handling deliveries.
Sell over-the-counter medicines.
Address customer queries, escalating to the pharmacist when necessary.
Provide health advice and direct customers to appropriate resources.
