HUC provides the NHS111 and Out of Hours GP service to over 4.5 million patients across Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, West Essex and the South West of England. HUC is an exciting and supportive place to work.
This role involves assisting with the delivery of patient care including phlebotomy and to provide support to Health Care professionals within a multi-disciplinary team, under the supervision of the clinician and within the group parameters of practice.

- New patient health checks
- Weight management
- Blood pressure and Hypertension monitoring
- ECG recording
- Phlebotomy
- Dressing and ROS
- Swabs and urinalysis
- Supporting coil fittings
- Chaperoning duties
- Supporting IPC
- Signposting and or referring patient to other healthcare services.
- Supporting QOF
- Cold chain storage, monitoring and recording.
- Surgical equipment re-stocking and stock rotation
- Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms
- Supporting adult/child safeguarding
- Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients’ health and well-being
- Helping to raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted
- Assisting Town Centre GP Surgery to achieve both local and national agreed targets.
- To assist in ensuring that Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed within the Town Centre Surgery
