Health Care Assistant/Support Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality care and support to patients in healthcare settings.

Duties:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Support patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist in meal preparation and medication reminders

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and medical staff
- Proficiency in basic IT skills for electronic health record management
- Experience in home care or care home settings is a plus
- Valid driver's license for transportation needs
- Ability to understand and follow care plans effectively
- Fluency in English is required for clear patient communication
