Due to recent expansion we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and self motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our well structured team. Here you will join a close nit office team which has very low staff turnover, this is an excellent opportunity for anyone with experience in recruitment who is interested in joining a dynamic and expanding healthcare company.
Position Summary
This in house recruiter will join our fast paced recruitment team based at our Head office outside Portadown, working Monday to Friday 9-5 on a permanent basis. As a leading Care Home provider, the recruiter is pivotal to meeting the ever changing recruitment needs across our care homes, attracting quality candidates to join our workforce managing the interviews and full compliance process from start to finish.

Responsibilities of the Role
- Liaising with Senior Management to understand the vacancies needs for Ann’s care homes and recruiting for same
- Manage job advertisements across various recruitment platforms and social media to attract suitable candidates
- Contacting all applicants and undertaking a structured initial telephone screen following by remote interview
- Manage recruitment process from carrying out initial in depth screen telephone calls to setting up and carrying out remote interviews in order to assess candidate suitability for the role
- Source and assess relevant compliance documentation such as References, Access NI, NISCC, RTW
- Planning and attending Recruitment days and leading activities on these days
- Handling all applicant enquiries including answering enquiries regarding sponsoring overseas applicants
- Provide regular updates of applicants to Care Home Managers ensuring vacancies are filled in a timely manner
- Comply with company management systems, policies and procedures including accurate database management
- General office duties
Essential criteria
- Minimum proven 1 year experience within last 3 years working in a recruitment position ideally within Healthcare Industry
- Must be qualified to GCSE standard (including Maths and English)
- Excellent people skills with the ability to engage with people quickly and professionally
- Having ability to work in fast paced environment with regular changing needs of the business
- Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and compliance procedures
- Ability to prioritise with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task recruitment activities
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to demonstrate successful track record of process improvements and best use of technology
- Must be computer literate with strong knowledge on all Microsoft applications.
