Working alongside Doctors, nurses, and non-clinical staff your role will include supporting clinical staff to deliver safe, patient centred care, setting up the clinic rooms, assisting with minor procedures and effective management of equipment and stock, general tidying of departments, chaperoning patients and general support and assistance within the clinic.
It is essential that you have a caring and compassionate attitude toward everyone accessing our services. You will be expected to work as part of a team providing care within defined protocols, but will also be expected, after a period of training, to work on your own initiative unsupervised. You must also have the ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.
Shifts are on a rotational basis across Monday to Saturday.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct.
Essential Criteria:
· Previous hospital or caring experience
Phlebotomy
Desirable Criteria:
· ECG Recording
· Vital Sign measurements
