The Role:
- Assist management in the implementation of the Health, Safety & Environmental policy and Safe Systems of Work.
- Maintain systems to enable easy access to records and information related directly to the Health, Safety & Environmental management system.
- Arrange and organise Occupational Health Surveillance where required and maintain records of attendance.
- Promote Health & Safety in the workplace, providing advice to employees on how to maintain their health and well-being.
- Conduct Health & Safety inductions with new staff and maintain induction records.
- Co-ordinate safety audits and inspections.
- Facilitate risk assessment sign-off throughout the business.
- Maintain the Group EH&S legal register.
- Support ongoing ISO 45001/14001 accreditation.
Experience Required:
- Experience in HSE in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise work and work in an effective and organised manner.
- Ability to be flexible when required.
- Willingness to develop career through academic achievement.
