Sales Administrator

*Please note - This is not a cold call, hard sales position. It is responding to quote requests and helping customers.

Experience and Key Skills

The purpose of this position is for the successful candidate to act as the point of contact for customers. To prepare, maintain and complete all aspects of the quotation process, produce the invoice once the order is accepted, raise the PO and manage the delivery of the goods. We believe in the approach of the sales team taking control of their own orders from start to finish so the customer has one point of contact and every order has ownership maximising customer service. The ideal candidate will be looking to continuously improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of services offered. A proactive and forward-thinking approach is required with a hands-on and can-do attitude.

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Answering phone enquiries and email enquiries
• Preparation of quotations for submission to customer
• Liaising with customer on quotation progress
• Processing the order and making sure the goods go out to the customer in a timely manner
• Keeping the customer updated throughout the order process inc tracking details etc
• To log and process service / quotation requests received by telephone or email
• Maintain relationships with customers
• To update the computer system with additional information as advised by peers / customers
• To maintain an effective filing system
• Expected to work as a part of a team with the goal of procuring and delivering the right product to the right person for the right price as quickly and efficiently as possible

• Good organisational skills
• High level of IT skills, excel & word, outlook, email
• Good understanding of Xero knowledge
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience of data inputting
• Ability to work under pressure

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
