Form of workDo you have experience within HSE Management and are you within a reasoable commute of Redditch? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a global organisation identify a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Officer for a minimum 6 month period.
As a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer, you will assist the HSE Manager to ensure environmental compliance at the facility. You will also develop procedures to comply with legal obligations and coordinate environmental issues day to day, including site waste management streams.
A typical day for this HSE Officer will likely include:
- The co-ordination of day to day issues, including site waste management streams
- Collecting and collating data in order to compile reports, i.e. CDP, greenhouse gas, packaging regulations, Carbon footprinting, customer reporting, etc
- To develop and track annual environmental targets and benchmarking
- To conduct environmental audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company procedures.
To apply for this Environmental Officer role, you will need experience and up-to-date knowledge in relevant areas. You will also require the following:
- Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail skills
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- The ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy
- Concise reporting skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
