The Senior Community Fundraising Officer is responsible for overseeing all income via Community Fundraising. The post holder will be responsible for income from various sources including physical fundraising challenges, non-physical fundraising events, educational institutions, community groups, and celebration fundraising. The post holder will also have oversight of their annual flagship fundraising event, the 1.7 challenge, and any other mass fundraising events. The purpose of this post is to feed into strategy, providing guidance and direction to ensure that Community Fundraising continues to grow with great stewardship.
A large aspect of the role will be line management of two Fundraising Officers (full-time) and you will be responsible for setting their workplans, managing workloads and holding appraisals to nurture their growth and to help grow the Community Fundraising team.
This is a part-time (22 hours/week) role, with flexible working arrangements and will pay £34,200. You will work remotely from anywhere within the UK (they do have offices in London and Bristol if this is preferred).
