Senior Community Investment Administrator

 

Worcester

 

£26,982 - £28,402 per year

 

35 hours per week

 

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Community Investment team, part of the Sustainability Directorate at Sanctuary. You will work in a team of 5 and support charitable investment and the social value across the Sanctuary.

 

Our Community Investment team also work with a network of over 20 colleagues who invest in Sanctuary communities across England and Scotland. Our job is to help the Group to deliver the Community Investment Strategy, governing charitable funding, resources and time to enhance the lives of our customers and their communities. We ensure funding decisions are fair, accessible and inclusive.

 

The role of Senior Community Investment Administrator will include:

  • Raising payments for charity groups including our new biodiversity fund
  • Reviewing charity grant agreements, sending to community partners and filing
  • Managing the community team inbox, responding to queries from charities and colleagues including funding requests
  • Inputting charitable investment data including data quality checks
  • Assisting with the team with annual audit process to assure community data
  • Supporting the Community Investment Officer to process grant applications
  • Assisting with the Volunteering Scheme
  • Administrative support for the Community Investment Team including booking train travel/hotels, meeting rooms, organising team meetings
  • Assisting Head of Community Investment with data for report writing which includes reports to Executive Committee, bid writing teams and team briefings

 

Skills and experiences:

  • NVQ3 in relevant area (eg business administration, customer service)
  • Track record of building positive and productive working relationships internally and externally.
  • Confident in talking to people, representing our team in meetings and events
  • A passion for people – keen to make a difference to our colleagues and customers
  • Ability to multi-task and manage last minute requests for information as every day is different
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail – aiming to ensure quality data processing
  • Creative – we are a small team and welcome ideas to improve our impact
  • Confident and proficient in using Microsoft tools including Excel and Sharepoint
