Pay: £35,000-40,000

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Client as a Health and Safety Coordinator. As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the employees and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- Assess risks and provide recommendations to minimise accidents, injuries, and occupational hazards.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and deliver training programs on health and safety topics.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging health and safety trends.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety activities.
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
- Supporting on-site visitors and contractors
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a health and Safety Coordinator or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- NEBOSH Qualification
- Experience with ISO 9001 & BRC Led factory audits
