Form of workOur client, one of largest UK independent oil & gas development and production company seeking HSE Lead on a STAFF basis in Aberdeen.
Role will be providing leadership supporting and managing offshore operations. Working closely with all members of the project team to discharge their responsibilities for HSE. Facilitate and take part in Regulatory liaison, inspections – preparation and follow up. To provide support, coaching, specialist expertise and advice to the Offshore teams. Exhibits excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with ability to collaborate, listen and coach personnel.
Requirements:
- Proven track record having preferably worked in a similar role as Lead / Senior HSE professional.
- Experience working on maturing assets.
- Operational experience with North Sea O&G Company.
- Comprehensive understanding, good working knowledge of UK HSE legislation, sufficient to offer guidance without reference.
- Experience of participation in HSE audits, compliance, technical safety reviews and incident investigation.
- Is an efficient self-starter with an ability to work alone and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and deliver against deadline.
