We are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to join our client s well-established organisation. If you have experience working within manufacturing / production with a NEBOSH qualification and are looking to join a growing organisation, then look no further!
Duties include:
- Acting as a hands on manager, present on the factory floor, assessing current processes and implementing new systems where necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring processes and procedures are understood and followed by developing exceptional relationships with managers and production staff.
- Ensuring all health and safety regulations are in place and are compliant with legal standards.
- Managing risk assessments, accident investigations, and other procedures regarding Health & Safety.
- Leading Health & Safety meetings to ensure all staff members are aware and trained effectively.
- Conducting inductions, and supporting managers with inductions for new employees, ensuring they are aware of all H&S policies and procedures.
- Carrying out a review of training and induction processes and upskilling staff where necessary.
- Any other duties required.
The successful candidate for this Health & Safety Manager role will have / be:
- Significant experience working in a Health and Safety role within a Manufacturing environment.
- A NEBOSH general certificate as a minimum.
- Previous experience in a managerial role.
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency with MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
