Job Summary
As the H&S Manager, you'll be reporting to the Head of Production Operations and be the go-to person for all things related to H&S procedures.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring H&S procedures are communicated, implemented, monitored, and maintained across a defined scope.
- Work closely with site management teams to ensure ongoing compliance with agreed and legal standards.
- Manage accident investigation and reporting processes, risk assessments, emergency preparedness procedures, and more.
- Responsible for ensuring the Pre-use checks are completed, COSH is adhered to, inspections are booked and carried out, regular H&S meetings with staff, PPE and that we are legally compliant.
- Liaise with other key staff members and provide feedback, training and techniques to enable others to achieve standards.
- Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- NEBOSH qualification or higher.
- Have a broad knowledge of manufacturing and warehousing production, and/or construction quality assurance and control.
- Experience in the management of change and continual improvement program.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
