Location: Wellbeing Team based at Saltburn–by–the–Sea / St Marks House, Thornaby
Cleveland Police are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Health and Safety Manager to provide expert specialist advice to all levels of the organisation to ensure compliance of Health and Safety legislation and promote a positive culture towards Health and Safety throughout the Force.
Candidates who have significant experience as a health and safety advisor, with a proven track record of working with stakeholders, demonstrating well developed influencing and problem solving skills will be particularly suited to this role. We are looking for applicants who are driven and focused, who can showcase their ability to develop and direct risk reduction strategies, as well as initiate, implement and manage health and safety policies.
Possessing excellent working knowledge of the current health and safety legislation, you will ensure systems and processes are fit for purpose, and that compliance is maintained. If you have been involved in formulating health and safety strategies, within a large scale organisation setting we would welcome an application from you.
