About This Role
Due to unprecedented growth, we have an exciting opportunity available for experienced Healthcare Assistants to join the team at Alliance Medical London.
Alliance Medical London is our flagship site in the centre of London, Made up of two private facilities, AML Marylebone and AML Harley Street, they are based in the vibrant London, both sites are rated as ‘good’ with CQC. We have a good team, and we are keen on developing staff. We have a wide mix of patients, including Private, VIPs and NHS patients. We have close relationships with consultants and radiologists.
AML Marylebone and AML Harley Street are within 5 minutes of each other and you would be required to work at both.
Purpose of The Job:
- Provide a support service to both sites, optimising care standards for all patients, staff and visitors.
- Develop skills in line with Training and developmental opportunities and courses.
- Maintain high standards of Health and Safety in line with current H&S Codes and policies.
- Carry out other work and duties as the workload may require.

Required Skills and Experience
The candidate should have experience in a Healthcare environment as they will be required to provide both administration and customer/patient, support including chaperoning patients and assisting the MRI Radiographers throughout the MRI scanning process. They will also have a commitment to some admin duties related to the patient pathway in line with standard guidelines. To be successful in this role they must have good communication skills both written and verbal, together with good IT and administration skills and the ability to understand and comply with radiation protection protocols. Excellent patient care skills are essential.
Attention to detail is key, along with being flexible, organized and having an enthusiastic attitude.
You will need to be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and under pressure, meeting deadlines and turn- around times.
To be successful in this role you must have good communication skills both written and verbal, together with good IT and administration skills. A flexible, organized and enthusiastic attitude is essential with a good attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the patient pathway (inc. on and off the scanner)
- Supporting the clinical team with day to day running
- Up dating clinical systems such as CPM
- Organsing and rotating stock
- Pre and post assessment of patients
- Completing audits where required
- Ensuring they deliver high quality patient care
