Are you enthusiastic, motivated and flexible? An opportunity has arisen for Healthcare Assistants to work 37.5 hours per week to assist our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our patients. Part time hours will be considered.
Working alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professionals, you will be involved in the personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a group of patients with varying degrees of mental and physical issues.

We have an excellent team and offer a very good working environment with an ever evolving service where ideas and innovation are welcome and are integral to the development of the service.
Due to being an all-male hospital and the current staff team, preference will be given to male applicants.
Shifts are 12.5 hours long with an unpaid 1 hour break. Both days, nights and a share of weekend shifts will be required.

Priory Hospital Newbury is a 34 bed Recovery and Rehabilitation service for men with enduring mental illness, set on the southern outskirts of Newbury. We have a full and diverse MDT including Psychology, Creative Therapists, Consultant Psychiatrists and excellent physical health care provided by a Lead Nurse and an incredible GP. There are excellent public transport links to Reading, Basingstoke and London which is just a 50 minute train journey.
Within the service is a care pathway offering an admission ward, a community facing ward, a longer term ward for patients with more complex needs and also a 4 bed flat for patients who are returning to independent living in the community. The site is warm and welcoming with a homely atmosphere.
