Shift times: Monday –Sunday (flexibility required to work long days, nights and Weekends)

Salary: £25,837-£28,708 (DOE) plus 9% Shift allowance
We’re looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Orthopaedics Ward, based in The London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
As a Healthcare assistant, working within our Orthopaedics Ward, you will provide and deliver customer service to a world class level for our patients, visitors and consultants.
You will be responsible for providing assistance to clinical staff and will participate in the assessment of patient care needs and maintain the agreed standards of care under the supervision of the nursing team. You will carry out clinical observations and assist staff and patients to deliver high levels of patient care, demonstrating excellent customer care skills.
The 29 Bedded Unit is based on the 2nd floor at London Bridge Hospital.
Rated as 'outstanding' by the CQC, the London Bridge Hospital campus in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City, Canary Wharf and Kent.
With 160 beds, 22 ICU beds and 10 operating theatres we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations
