Long Term Speech and Language Teaching Assistant role in a primary school in East London working with KS2 children with Speech and Language delay.

We are looking for an organised and pro-active Teaching Assistant looking for experience to perhaps go on and be a Speech and Language therapist in the future. You should have previous experience working with children or young people with Speech and Language difficulties and have a passion for this kind of work.

• Long Term SEN TA role starting September working with 2 children with S&L difficulties
• Would suit somebody with experience doing interventions with children with speech delay
• Also suit a graduate with related degree and an interest in Psychology or Psychotherapy
• Additional qualifications related to Speech & Language or autism a bonus
• In class support and interventions

This SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve working 1:1 with 2 children both on the autistic spectrum. You will also be assisting with learning, supporting the class teacher and there will also be some Speech and Language intervention outside the classroom.
