Healthcare Assistants at Marie Curie provide holistic, person centred, end of life care to patients and those important to them. You will undertake a broad range of care activities as delegated by a Registered Nurse through a documented plan of care.
To join our dedicated, caring team, you'll need proven, relevant care experience, ideally within a clinical setting. An S/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification or an equivalent certificate/diploma is desirable but not essential if you are willing to work towards it. Most important is an understanding of palliative and end-of-life care - empathy and compassion.
We encourage candidates to arrange an informal visit to the hospice to come and experience the welcoming atmosphere, high standards of care and compassionate, yet positive environment Marie Curie hospices promote.
