About This Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our static PET-CT service in Ashford, Kent.
The unit currently operates up to six days a week to provide PET-CT services to the Kent region.
We are a growing and supportive unit with a busy PET/CT service. With further plans to increase our services.
We are rated Good by CQC.
Ashford is well situated in Kent with good transport connections to London. The fast train from Ashford International train station to St Pancreas Station is a journey ion under 40 minutes. The unit is well situated just off Junction 10 of the M20 motorway gives easy access to commuting. There is also a regular bus service to the hospital from the train station and neighboring towns.
You will provide support to the clinical team, as a HealthcareAssistant for which training will be provided. Pre-employment screening including an enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role.
This role is 40 hours per week, Monday – Sunday

Skills and Experience Required
The successful candidate must have
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with a good standard of IT literacy.
- Typing skills are essential
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills are essential in order to prioritise your workload to ensure a high standard of patient care at all times.
- Work within site protocols and procedures to ensure the delivery of a quality service
- Ensure sound knowledge of site RIS systems
- Work in an efficient and effective manner to maximise throughput
- Escalate to the Clinical Lead/Regional Senior any identified clinical issues requiring further management input
- Ensure full compliance with all current AML Policies, Procedures and extant legislation
- Actively participate in departmental audits
- Be reflective in thinking and outlook and be able to source advice, coping with multiple demands during the working day
