The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest specialist orthopaedic units in Europe. We offer planned orthopaedic surgery to people locally, nationally and internationally.
Our Trust is a very special hospital; big enough to deliver world class services and small enough to offer exceptional patient and staff experience. We offer a working experience unique in the West Midlands and we're always on the lookout for passionate people to join our award-winning team.
The ROH is an equal opportunities employer. We employ people of difference and are committed to growing an inclusive culture, where difference is celebrated, and people feel able to bring their whole and authentic self to work.
We are a Disability Confident Leader and offer a range of inclusive, family friendly and flexible working arrangements and policies, to support our people in the workplace. Flexible working requests will be considered.
The Trust is committed to the Disability Confident Interview Scheme and will offer an interview to disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for a vacancy and consider them on their abilities.
If you have a disability and need any support with your application or require any reasonable adjustments to be implemented please do get in touch with the Recruiting Manager for this position so that the team can support you.
The team at the Royal OrthopaedicNHS Foundation Trust provides a holistic approach when caring for a wide range of patients with complex musculoskeletal, spinal and oncology conditions, many of whom require high dependency care.
As one of the country’s few Elective Orthopaedic Specialist Hospitals, ‘The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital’ receives referrals & transfers only and therefore has no ‘Emergency Department’. This allows our team to focus their attention on the delivery of truly holistic and patient centred care.
With multi-professional team working we are continually enhancing the patient journey and experience with high quality, evidence-based care delivery. This includes, Critical Care Outreach, Tissue Viability, Safeguarding, Infection Prevention and Control any many more….. We even have our own community service!
We have a strong commitment to education and training and will provide a comprehensive package of learning and skills-based competency, supported by senior clinical staff. All new starters will be offered a period of supernumerary practice and will be supported to complete the Care Certificate training programme if you have not already done so. We understand that changing jobs or embarking on a new career can be daunting, but we will support you all the way.
If you would like to work in a hospital that values you, supports you in allowing you the time to really care and is committed to your professional development then apply today!
Maths and English Assessment will take place on Sunday the 18th of February 2024. Successful candidates will be offered interview dates to be confirmed.
We have full and part time hours available and flexi working can be considered.
The post will close once we have received a sufficient number of applications. Hence, we encourage you to apply promptly.
Due to the nature of the position, unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
