We are currently recruiting Band 2 Health Care Assistance full or part time, to join our highly committed teams across the Trust.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Promote effective and efficient communication with all members of the multi-professional team.
• Provide personal care to patients undergoing orthopaedic procedures.
• Provide effective working relationships with patients/relatives/carers/ nursing team/medical and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Contribute to effective communication and minimise barriers where there are communication differences.
• Report any complaints to the registered practitioner in charge immediately.
• Provide and receive routine information.
• Exhibit professional behaviour and attitude at all times.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

The team at the Royal OrthopaedicNHS Foundation Trust provides a holistic approach when caring for a wide range of patients with complex musculoskeletal, spinal and oncology conditions, many of whom require high dependency care.
As one of the country’s few Elective Orthopaedic Specialist Hospitals, ‘The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital’ receives referrals & transfers only and therefore has no ‘Emergency Department’. This allows our team to focus their attention on the delivery of truly holistic and patient centred care.
