Job Title:Heating Engineer
Location: Between Nottingham and Leicester
Client / Contract: FES - Schools
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break.
Salary: £36,000 per annum
Call Out: On-call duty, 1 in 6, with overtime paid at 1.5x rate.
Travel: Provided company van for business use only, along with a fuel card. Commute time unpaid (30 minutes each way).
Requirements / Qualifications:
- City and Guilds Qualification in plumbing or equivalent
- Additional certifications such as 18th Edition, Fgas, IPAF, and PASMA are advantageous
- Previous commercial experience, particularly in plant rooms and boiler pumps
- Valid Full Driving License
- Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS
Team Structure: You will collaborate with a team comprising one other Heating Engineer, two fabric engineers, and two electricians (the Heating Engineer possesses the 18th edition qualification).
Responsibilities:
- Conducting reactive and planned maintenance across a portfolio of schools
- Efficiently managing the diary for monthly PPMs
- Willingness to handle miscellaneous tasks on-site
