Location - Greenfield, Manchester (Travel around the UK required)

Contract - 12 Months

Salary - GBP18.67 per hour (Equivalent to GBP38,000 per annum)

My client is a global manufacturing company who are a leading company in science-based technology, they have a long-standing reputation and are committed to innovation and now they are looking for a Height Safety Training Instructure to join their team.

The Height Safety Training Instructor is responsible for the delivery of courses to clients in the renewables, telecoms industries and other specialist sectors. Courses offered are Height Safety, confined space, rope access and general safety including first aid, manual handling, and fire awareness that are delivered at the company Safety Training Centre, in Oldham, Greater Manchester or where applicable, at client premises.

Key Skills and Responsibilities Include -

• The safe use of personal fall protection equipment, including work restraint, work positioning, fall arrest and rescue.
• Delivery of training to meet course objectives using diverse teaching methods.
• Understanding legislation and principles of risk assessment
• Working in line with defined procedures and practices
• Maintaining high standard of knowledge and techniques
• Completing course paperwork accurately and in a reasonable timeframe
• Inspection and maintenance of training equipment
• GWO/EUSR/MATS instructing experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Training experience required and ideally a PTLLS qualification or equivalent.
• IT to basic level and presentation skills
