Scope:
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Health & Safety Trainer who has previous experience Working at height. Our client is a global technology company who operates in over 100 countries. The main purpose of this role is to provide in house and off-site training in Oldham with some travel (approx 20%) and ensure all training materials and courses meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. This is an initial 12 month contract with extension.
Responsibilities:
Key skills and responsibilities include:
- The safe use of personal fall protection equipment, including work restraint, work positioning, fall arrest and rescue.
- Delivery of training to meet course objectives using diverse teaching methods.
- Understanding legislation and principles of risk assessment
- Completing course paperwork accurately and in a reasonable timeframe
- Inspection and maintenance of training equipment
About You:
Experience and Personal Skills
- GWO/EUSR/MATS instructing experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Training experience required and ideally a PTLLS qualification or equivalent.
- IT to basic level and presentation skills
