The Carers Centre Leicestershire & Rutland is dedicated to providing vital assistance for unpaid carers, helping them to access the support and services they need to stay well and have fulfilling lives whilst caring for loved ones.
- Are you looking for a rewarding challenge where you’ll know you’re really making a difference to people’s lives?
- Do you understand how unpaid caring can negatively affect carers wellbeing and restrict their life choices?
- Have you got administrative and/or information and advice experience working in health, social care, education or the voluntary/community sector?
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to gain experience and skills providing support for our team and offering an initial contact point for carers, volunteers, professionals and other supporters we work with.
Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of supporting teams in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector.
You should be an excellent communicator, flexible in your approach and able to work positively as part of a small team.
Full training and support will be provided with opportunities to expand and diversify your skills and experience.
Our offices are based in Leicester City Centre with options to work remotely from home or other venues. We are a family friendly employer and can offer flexible, hybrid working arrangements, six weeks annual holiday and a great team of supportive colleagues.
This post is currently offered on an initial one year basis with extension dependant on funding availability.
