Job Summary:
I am seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our farming team. As the main driver, you will be responsible for transporting in-house and external goods, materials and equipment to various locations. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and experience with at least one or more of tippers, curtainsiders and lowloaders.

Duties:

- Must be “can do“ and able to operate under own initiative
- Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials
- Secure cargo using straps, chains, or other securing devices
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation guidelines

Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with preferably a clean driving license
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver
- Ability to operate forklifts highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of cargo and long hours of driving

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
