Hgv Class 1 Driver

Eric Edwards Haulage Contractor Ltd is looking for a HGV Class 1 driver to join our team. We are a family owned company which has been operating since 1948.

We offer competitive pay, and a great work environment. operating with mainly Volvo vehicles, carrying out pelletised and bulk tanker deliveries within the UK (experience on powder tanks welcome but not essential) each driver is allocated their own vehicle from the fleet. We see this position has a great opportunity for individuals with commercial driving experience who are looking for a stable and rewarding career.

shift pattern available: Tuesday-Saturday

alternative shift pattern 4on-4off- details available on application

on acceptance of the position training is given to comply with all bulk tanker delivery procedures.

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license
- Clean driving record with no recent accidents
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £42,900.00-£48,500.00 per year
