As a leading player in the Driving industry, our client prides itself on delivering exceptional service to a wide range of customers.Responsibilities:- Safely operating an HGV Class 1 vehicle in compliance with traffic regulations and industry best practices- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and roadworthiness- Delivering goods and products to various locations efficiently, while adhering to designated schedules- Providing exceptional customer service by professionally communicating with clients and addressing any queries or concerns- Loading and unloading goods in a safe and timely manner- Complying with all relevant paperwork, such as delivery notes, manifests, and driver logs- Adhering to company policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environmentQualifications:- Valid HGV Class 1 license (C+E)- Excellent driving skills with a proven track record of safe and efficient driving- Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant traffic regulations and driving laws- Previous experience in a similar driving role, preferably as an HGV Class 1 Driver- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical skills- Exceptional communication and customer service skills- Flexible schedule with the ability to work varied shifts and overtime when requiredSalary: £15.00 - £16.00 per hourTo apply for this exciting opportunity, please visit our website workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
