HGV Class 1 Driver tramper

Yuill & Dodds Ltd are recruiting Class 1 Drivers with DCPC and digital Tachograph in-date with walking floor, steel tipper, or ejector experience. This is not necessary as full training will be provided. There will be a need for you to be flexible with customer and the business needs of Yuill & Dodds Ltd. We have a variety of work ranging from tramping, local and trunks with long-term secure work all PPE will be provided you will be paid a weekly wage and nights out when required. With an opportunity to work weekends (Overtime) which can boost your weekly/yearly income. You will be responsible for carrying out daily walk-round checks and reporting any defects on your vehicle in a timely manor to the fleet engineer/workshop staff, following all company policies and procedures in relation to safe tipping. You will provide excellent customer service. You will show your professional driving skills shall be of the highest standard with a good geographical knowledge of the national road network. All DCPC training is provided and you will have a good knowledge of drivers hours regulations and working time directive. You will have an induction with e-learning element and driving assessment.
