DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 1 driver/DDI to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Dual role working as Class 1 Driver between 3 sites, shunting and as a DDI
- To be fully trained as a DD1 if required
- Office cover for Transport Manager in their absence
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- You will Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proven IT and administration skills
- DDI experience or willingness to be fully trained as a DDI
