Hgv Class 1 Drivers (Haydock/Sherburn Day/Night Trunks

Full-time Experience HGV Drivers (Day/Night Trunks) - 1 year (Essential)

Due to new contracts, we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E) to join our family run business located just off the M74 at Rigside, Lanark. 5 on 3 off shifts available for Day/Night trunks to Haydock and Sherburn. Potential earnings 32k to 36k.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a customer focused approach and the drive to ensure a successful operation. Applicants will have a flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns to facilitate operational requirements including night and weekend working.

These positions are permanent following a satisfactory probationary period.

Duties will include but not limited to:

Temperature controlled and Ambient deliveries/collections to/from RDC’s and customers across Scotland and England.

What will you need:

Current Clean HGV Class 1 licence

Current DCPC card

Digital Tachograph driver card

Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns

Good geographical knowledge

A positive, can do attitude

High attention to detail/excellent communication skills

Physically fit (some manual work may be involved)

• Nightshift - Shift Pattern 50 on 3 off
