Our client, a reputable company in the driving industry, is seeking a professional driver to contribute to their continued success.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently drive a HGV Class 1 vehicle with a Flat Bed trailer, ensuring all loads are securely fastened.- Transport goods to and from designated locations, always adhering to traffic laws and regulations.- Conduct comprehensive vehicle checks prior to and following each journey, reporting any faults or issues promptly.- Provide exceptional customer service, interacting positively with clients while making deliveries and pickups.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and log any incidents or accidents in line with company policy.Qualifications Required:- Valid HGV Class 1 license, with Flat Bed trailer experience preferred.- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.- Digital Tachograph Card and relevant up-to-date Driver CPC training modules.- Good understanding of road safety regulations and compliance.- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to company policies.- Reliable and punctual, with excellent time management skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude.This permanent role offers a competitive pay rate of £16.00 to £17.00 per hour, reflective of your skills and experience.
