HGV TANKER DRIVER
Sunday to Thursday Dyas(Shunter/Loader)
- Based at our Purfleet depot
- Tanker experience required
- £14.50 (first 20-weeks employment) raising to £15.50 after
The role of an Abbey Logistics Class1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using bulk liquid tankers throughout the UK.
Duties will include:
- Loading & Delivery of liquid tankers at depot for deliveries next day
- Deliveries to customers when required
- Complying with all drivers’ hours and working time regulations
- Using a digital hand-held device to record all vehicle checks and delivery information
- Following customer and company guidelines and processes
Experience
- Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
- Tanker work preferred but not essential as training will be given
- Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card
