Position Summary

Due to continued growth, development, and fleet expansion, WRC is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Skip/RORO Driver to join the team at our Renfrewshire-based depot, to assist with the delivery and recovery of recycling stock to a variety of customers across Scotland. The team at WRC is expanding, and this is the perfect opportunity to join a growing workforce within a healthy and prosperous industry.

Job Description

A full-time, permanent position based at our recycling plant in Inchinnan, Renfrewshire. The HGV Class 2 Driver will deliver and unload skips to WRC customers.

Duties

Whilst reporting to the transport manager you will:

· Deliver goods to our customers in a safe and timely manner

· Comply with all road and vehicle laws

· Maintain vehicle checks and keep tachograph up to date

· Communicate with your team to ensure swift and easy deliveries

· Resolve any customer questions or queries

· Positively represent WRC by continuously following all company policies and procedures

· Consistently delivering excellent customer service when carrying out all duties

· Have a sound knowledge of local areas

Desired Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate must have:

· A minimum of a Class 2HGV license

· A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)

· Experience collecting and offloading skips is desirable

· A digital tachograph card

· Excellent customer service skills
