SalaryHGV2 Driver
HGV2 Driver required in Burton-On-Trent for one of the world's leading supplier of pharmaceutical items such as vitamins, minerals, health supplements, specialist foods and natural beauty products. As a HGV 2 Driver, you will be placed on an immediate temp to perm contract.
The role
- Distribution of pharmaceutical items Nationwide with the use of a HGV2
- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Load and unload goods using appropriate methods, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Deliver goods to designated locations promptly and efficiently
- Complete required paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and timesheets
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers to ensure a smooth delivery process
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and relevant legal requirements
Requirements for this role
- C entitlement on driving licence with a minimum of 6 months on it and 6 months HGV driving experience
- Cage experience
- Proven experience as a HGV2 Driver
- Experience in store deliveries ideal but no essential
- 25 years old or older
- Valid digital tacho and CPC card
- No more than 6 points on licence
- Safety boots & hi-vis vest
- Flexibility to accommodate a range of early start times between 1am and 4am
Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 1am and 4am
- 8 to 12 hour shifts
