This temporary position offers competitive pay rates ranging from £14.00 to £15.00 per hour.Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations within Sheffield and surrounding areas.- Utilize navigational tools and maintain strong knowledge of local routes to optimize delivery schedules.- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including securing loads and using appropriate equipment for loading and unloading.- Conduct vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate documentation.Qualifications:- Valid UK HGV Class 2 license, including CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.- Proven experience as a HGV Class 2 Driver, with preferably a clean driving record.- Familiarity with Sheffield and surrounding areas, and ability to navigate effectively using both traditional maps and GPS tools.- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to efficiently interact with colleagues and customers.- Excellent time management and organizational abilities, ensuring punctuality and adherence to delivery schedules.- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.- Commitment to workplace safety protocols.
