We are recruiting a Part-time Bookkeeper for a Public Relations and Marketing agency based in Central London who have a number of clients in the video gaming sector.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will ensure the smooth running of financial operations, with a focus on bank reconciliation, purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll using Quickbooks.
You will have a minimum of three years book-keeping experience up to trial balance and be available at short notice.
You must have an outgoing personality, great interpersonally, strong communication and relationship building skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial transactions.
- Conduct regular reviews to maintain the integrity of debtor and creditor accounts, ensuring proper documentation and recording of financial transactions.
- Implement effective credit control measures to minimize outstanding debts and optimize cash flow.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Administer pension schemes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding financial matters, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Efficiently manage employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and oversee the use of our Monday.com accounts procedure, ensuring proper utilization and adherence to established protocols.
Experience:
- Minimum three years’ experience bookkeeping.
- Outgoing personality, great interpersonally, strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Experienced bookkeeper to trial balance.
- Good working knowledge of Quickbooks.
- Well organised, flexible and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to work well in a team and take initiatives.
- Experience with Monday.com (not essential).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Data input and IT skills.
