I am currently recruiting for an award winning small friendly family owned business for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate needs to be a well organised Bookeeper/Accountant to manage all aspects of its invoicing and credit control, payment of purchases and preparation of accounts.

This is a great role for someone looking for to work in a friendly enjoyable working enviroment.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Sales Ledger
• Purchase Ledger
• Self-billing
• Statement reconciliations
• Credit control
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Reporting to the Group Financial Controller / Interacting with our external accountant

About you:

• Sage 50, Sage Payroll and Bookkeeping experience is essential
• AAT Qualified
• Able to deal with confidential information and report preparation
• Experience in preparation of monthly manegement accounts
• Computer literate including very proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Reliable, Motivated hardworking and flexible
• Self-organised with plenty of initiative
• Multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage different duties, including an ability to prioritise tasks
• Attention to detail
