Trainee Credit Controller

As our Trainee Credit Controller you will be working closely with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and Senior Credit Controller to offer support to the wider team in order to maximise cash collections through the effective application of the Company’s credit policy. Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding strong relationships with internal and external customersTaking ownership of allocated ledger of customers and chase for overdue payments in line with process/workflow with the aim of reducing aged debt profileProcessing credit card paymentsPreparing bad debt paperwork as directedUnder guidance, complete credit checks on new and existing customersWork towards successful results in line with KPI’s set by AR Supervisor Ad-hoc office duties such as opening and distributing incoming postWhat We’re Looking ForYou will need to be confident on telephoneHave the ability to work on own initiativeExcellent attention to detailWillingness to learn and develop skill setExperience of working within a credit control / finance team would be advantageousWhat We Can Offer You25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany PensionLife Assurance coverSave As You Earn SchemeCycle to work scheme Free on site parkingFree Tool HireTraining & Development OpportunitiesRegular Discounts (eg.
