Hgv Class 2 Lorry Tipper Driver

HGV Class 2Tipper Driver, Ingatestone

Salary – Negotiable dependant on experience

- Experienced Tipper Drivers - £800.00 per week

- Drivers with no practical experience – full training can be given – salary negotiable

Hours – Monday – Friday. The flexibility to work occasional Saturdays will be required.

Reports to: Transport Manager

Requirements:

• Class 2 license Essential
• Up to date CPC Essential.
• Valid Digi-tachograph card Essential.
• You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent time keeping skills.
• View to permanent employment following a successful probationary period.
• Health and Safety awareness.

Duties:

• Complete vehicle daily inspection sheet and give to Transport Manager.
• Liaising with the Transport Manager throughout the day, carrying out the given instructions, precisely, to the best of your ability.
• Check goods off with Customers and obtain a signature.
• Ensuring goods are delivered in a first-class condition.
• Completing all necessary paperwork.
• Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law.
• Drive within the tachograph law and driver hours limits.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab and vehicle.
• Report any accidents, issues as soon as possible and in compliance with the company’s accident reporting procedure.
• Attend essential training in order to carry out the driver role
