Hgv Driver Class 1 (Day Shift)

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations within NI.

Duties:
- Safely operate a Tractor Unit and Box Trailer
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Load and unload kitchen cabinets, doors and worktops
- Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Communicate with dispatch manager and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise

Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo

Working Hours:

Mon - Fri - 7.30am to 4pm
However sometimes a customer requires a earlier delivery but the hours of working in the week average out at less than 40 hours per week

Applicant must be in good physical fitness as lifting of cabinets, doors and worktops are required at every delivery location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £105.00 per day
