An experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager is needed to join our team at Mobile Data Collection, a leading global Auto–ID specialist based in Swallowfield on a full–time basis.
We continually build upon our worldwide client base of over 8,000 customers and contacts. We offer state–of–the–art Auto ID/data scanning hardware (scanners, printers, tablets, handhelds) from all the main manufacturers.
You will be the key point of contact between the Sales Team, the organisation, and its clients, answering queries, offering advice, and introducing new products.
This role offers excellent earning potential with an OTE of GBP65,000+, along with excellent career development opportunities and a company phone!

About the Role
You will be expected to reach your own monthly sales target and perform with the Sales Team through a mixture of developing sales with our existing clients and new markets for our services and products.
Key Responsibilities:
Hiring new sales team members and coaching the sales teamConduct regular sales forecasts and ongoing projectsEvaluating performance and overseeing sales strategyDaily management of existing customers, with growth expectations'Warm lead' calling, telesales to existing clients, and cold calling new clientsDatabase management and sales project managementRepresenting the organisation at trade shows, exhibitions, and events to generate leadsFace–to–face selling and customer visits across the UKTake ownership of current non–managed accounts within the UK Required Experience:
Able to demonstrate extensive account management and Sales Management experience Experience in analysing sales data, proactive in anticipating needs and seeking opportunities to add value and business acumen to present this to the boardExcellent interpersonal skills, experience in successfully building lasting relationships and influencing and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levelsAble to manage a range of simultaneous diverse activities and projects with our sales teamStrong verbal, written and presentation skillsExcellent IT skills with experience of working with a range of database and network infrastructures Full valid driving licenceFluent in English or bilingual German is advantageous Required Skills:
