Are you an experienced HGV driver looking for flexible work in Doncaster and nearby regions? We have opportunities available for ad hoc shifts and holiday cover contracts.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) in accordance with traffic laws and regulations.
Transport goods and materials to designated locations promptly and efficiently.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience driving HGVs.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules.
