HGV Driver/Warehouse Operative

We have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join a world leading organisation supplying specialist equipment to the service industry

The role combines both HGV driving and warehousing duties.
HGV Driver/Warehouse Operative’s Duties
* Loading and unloading of HGV vehicles.
* Complying with all driving regulations as part of the day-to-day duties, including the recording of working time hours, vehicle checks and Tachograph record-keeping as required.
* Carry out driving duties as instructed.
* Accurately and efficiently moving goods between different locations around the operation.
* Accurately scanning/recording equipment through the various stages of distribution.
* Ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy.
* Checking returned goods for damaged and/or missing items and reporting where found.
* ensure timely delivery as per customer instructions.
Required Experience and Skills
* Previous experience working within a warehouse environment
* You need to hold a valid UK HGV Driving licence (Heavy Goods Vehicles) Class 2 (C)
* Possess a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), demonstrating compliance with EU regulations on driver training and competence.
* Maintain a clean driving record, with no major traffic violations or driving offenses.
* Familiarity with UK road regulations and traffic laws, including hours of service regulations and tachograph usage requirements.
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties
