As the energy sector expands, so does their business. They are now looking to recruit an Executive Assistant to join their growing, forward-thinking team, based in Elmstead Market.
Executive Assistant
£28-32k (Negotiable DOE) | Mon-Fri | 8am-4:30pm | Elmstead Market | EA/PA duties | Administration duties | Organisation | Communication skills | Fast paced | Able to work under pressure
The Executive Assistant provides general administrative and operational support to the Managing Director. The role holder will undertake administrative and supportive tasks to ensure that the Managing Director is able to undertake their work more effectively and that the office operates smoothly.
Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Supporting the MD with the operational running of the business
- Proactively following up on MD communications with internal staff and external clients via the phone and email
- Compiling monthly management and financial reports /data (including for client and staff meetings)
- Accurate note taking at internal and external meetings
- Support with company health and safety arrangement
- Assisting with fleet management, ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and available for staff when required, including negotiating prices with suppliers
- Dealing with company and vehicle insurance claims and renewals
- HR support to Managing Director, ensuring a high level of confidentiality is maintained
- Providing financial administrative support where required
- Ordering uniform for staff and general office supplies
- General support for the operational running of the business
Person Specification:
- 3 years PA and Administration experience
- Previous experience as a PA or EA preferred, or working in an operational role
- Finance experience/exposure desirable (working with Xero or similar is preferred)
- HR experience/exposure would be advantageous
- A thorough understanding of SMT/business confidentiality
- Able to work under a pressure
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Great organisation skills and punctual
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Computer and IT illiterate. (especially with Office 365)
- Able to work towards deadlines
