Location:
• Burton on Trent, East Staffordshire
Rota:
There are two options for you to consider, we require 2 night HGV Technicians and 1 day HGV Technician to be contracted Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays and weekends for the following shifts:
• NIGHTS: 21:30-06:30
• DAYS: rotating weekly 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00
Salary:
Basic pay + overtime at 1.5x – 2x depending on the shift.
• NIGHTS: £20.50 per hour PAYE (ot = £30.75 to £41.00 per hour)
• DAYS: £19 per hour PAYE (ot = £28.50 to £38.00 per hour)
Team:
There are c.25 staff currently working on site to include:
• 3x HGV Technicians on night shift
• 9x HGV Technicians on day shift
• 2x Site Maintenance People (carry out site cleaning, vehicle cleaning, clearing up spillages, painting etc)
• 2x People working in the Service Department
• 1x Workshop Controller
• 1x Parts Advisor
• 1x HGV Driver
• 1x Depot Manager
What we need from you:
• Only qualified and/or time served HGV Technicians, no light vehicle mechanics will be considered
• Ideally HGV Class 1 licence holder, CPC irrelevant
• Ideally NVQ / City and Guilds Level 3 qualified
• UK Right to work mandatory
• Excellent communication
• Team player
• IT literate – ideally dealership experience such as Kerridge, Autoline or ADP
• Could have HGV, Coach and/or Bus experience
