Role: Planner/Senior Planner

Summary
You will be joining a frontline development and planning business which operates within a much larger commercial and residential property adviser practice. We are looking for highly motivated, intelligent and experienced individuals who pride themselves in offering high quality advice and excellent client care gained in the private sector, consultancy or public sector environment.
The Role
Our National Planning and Development Team is growing. With a clear plan for expansion, we are now seeking talented people to be part of our future leadership team.
The role will be based primarily in the Bristol Office, working with the Senior Director / Senior Associate Director and providing guidance to a graduate.
The client also operates a reasonable work from home policy and are open to considering more flexible working arrangements but would expect the employee to be in the office c.3-days a week as a minimum.
Requirements:
* Several years' working in planning, ideally including working within the private sector but not
* Will ideally have demonstrable experience in both local plan preparation and development management, but with the latter being a key
* Must be able to work in a team environment and able to manage competing demands and prioritise
tasks for themselves and others with the key aspect being to meet clients' expectations.
* Must be a problem-solver and advocate ideas and solutions
* Successful applicants will have a flexible attitude towards working and be self-motivated with a strong team
* Candidates should also be self-assured, confident, enjoy the prospect of developing their own client base and making a real contribution to the prosperity of the Company and
* Ideally qualified with the RTPI (or RICS P&D) or working towards qualification.
