Hgv Technician

Proactive Personnel is seeking a skilled HGV Technician for a full-time role at our client's Cramlington location.

Role Overview: As an experienced HGV Technician, you will work on a diverse fleet, handling fault diagnostics, servicing, repairs, breakdown recovery, MOT prep/presentation, and comprehensive vehicle overhauls, including engine and gearbox repairs. We need a dependable, trustworthy individual who can work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years post-qualification experience
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance/Repairs and/or Time Served
• Class 1 HGV Licence (preferred but not essential)

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary: £41,418 per annum
• Overtime rates: £23.01, £26.57, £35.41
• First-time MOT pass bonus: £60.00 per month (approx.)
• Standby callout fee: £60.00 plus a minimum of 2 hours overtime

Work Schedule:

• Week 1: 07:00 - 16:30
• Week 2: 09:30 - 19:00 + Saturday morning
